EEG study mapping oscilatory brain activity in healthy volunteers under the effects of ayahuasca, revealing that the effects of the sacred amazonian brew has two distinct phases, one after 50 an another after 120 minutes, related to different compounds: DMT (first phase) and harmine, tetrahydroharmine and harmaline (second phase).
